The Nauticam NA-TG6 underwater housing has been a stalwart supporter of the Olympus Tough series, starting with the TG-3. While the camera boasts waterproof capabilities, coupling it with the precision-engineered aluminum Nauticam housing transforms the TG-7 into an authentic underwater imaging powerhouse. This housing not only encapsulates essential controls but also enhances their usability with conspicuously large and well-positioned buttons and dials. Remarkably, the NA-TG7 is compatible with both TG-6 and TG-7 camera models.
INTEGRATED BAYONET MOUNT
Featuring an integrated Bayonet Mount, the NA-TG7 seamlessly accommodates previous accessories utilizing this mount and the latest addition, the WWL-C Wet Wide Lens. The WWL-C is tailored to bestow genuine underwater ultra-wide angle performance for lenses equivalent to 24mm, such as those on the TG-5 and TG-6 cameras. This low-profile wet-mate corrective optic offers a broad 130º field-of-view while allowing full zoom capability. Its underwater removal facilitates swift transition to macro settings, securely stowing away using Nauticam's Bayonet Mount storage solutions.
ACCESSORY MOUNTING OPTIONS
For versatile accessory mounting, the NA-TG7 provides a cold-shoe and an M10 threaded mounting point on the housing. These openings readily support various lighting accessories. Additionally, it ships with stainless steel stiffening brackets and a shutter release extension, amplifying flexibility when used in conjunction with the Nauticam Flexitray II system. Integrating the tray, Adjustable Right Handle, and optional Strobe Mounting Balls (71311) augments stability, allowing up to four accessory mounting locations for an enriched shooting experience.
It's noteworthy that when using the 71207 Flexitray II, the baseplate requires a 180º rotation, and handle adjustments are essential.
FLASH TRIGGERING
Facilitating flash triggering, the NA-TG7 efficiently transmits the camera's internal flash to compatible external strobes through Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic Cables. These cables seamlessly plug into the Sea&Sea style bulkheads positioned on the housing's front. Moreover, the included diffuser enables the utilization of the internal flash as the primary light source.
LCD MAGNIFIER
Moreover, the NA-TG6 can be equipped with Rails (25123) above and below the rear LCD display window, accommodating the LCD Magnifier with Dioptric Adjustment (25106). This magnifier serves not only as a sunshade for improved visibility in bright conditions but also magnifies the screen for precise focus assessment. Featuring dioptric adjustment, it caters to individual vision requirements, including use with prescription masks.
