The NA-1DX is an innovative marvel from Nauticam with their ability to outdo themselves in design, engineering, and
functionality. With this housing and the Eos-D1 X Camera, Nauticam has achieved a clear-cut system that is very intuitive
to operate. The bottom placement on the housing is designed and placed for quick and efficient operation
by the shooter. NA-1DX comes with the easy latching system and Nauticams patented and groundbreaking port locking lever system
and interchangeable viewfinders. Ergonomics is a focus point for Nauticam and besides being easy to use the NA-1DX
housing with its grips is also comfortable to use. The possibilities with this system are limitless.

From the right grip using your right indexfinger, you can easily access the two-stage shutter release.

Both the top and rear command dials are uniquely located on the side of housing – easily reached without removing the hand from the grips.

The right thumb can quickly activate a new double paddle lever assembly engaging the record function on top and the AF-ON feature on the bottom lever.

The ISO control borrows from the older but brilliant NA-5DMKIII housing with an easily reached lever by your right thumb. The thought process behind this is easier exposure control (ISO) on the go so you don't miss

the perfect shot/scene.

Every control on a Nauticam system is given careful consideration. For example, AF Point Selection and the important programmable "*" button have been moved up and to the right to make it easily accessible with your right thumb. The Quick Mode and Set buttons are operated by the Piano keys. Menu is easily reached with the left hand, with info and playback on a double paddle (similar to the paddles on the right side), making image review and histogram accessible without moving

your left hand from the grip.

Nauticam was able to master the joystick features and even optimize it moving it closer to the right hand making it more easily accessible for the shooter. This joystick is needed for panning while zoomed in during playback, and the Na-1DX's five-button solution for the control makes checking details with panning possible and easy.

All these ergonomic advancements are made to become the most ergonomic underwater imaging system possible. Nauticam NA-1DX allows the operator to freely operate the camera controls with hands on the grips and focus on the viewfinder.

No controls need pre-setting before installing the camera into the housing, eliminating the possibility of wasted dives due to incorrect camera configuration.

VIEWFINDERS

The standard optical glass viewfinder is very good and travel-friendly, but the more advanced users might prefer a magnified viewfinder with adjustable diopter. Nauticam offers a "straight" 180º enlarging viewfinder a 45º angled enlarging viewfinder to enhance close quarters work that goes with macro shooting. Both viewfinders come with high-quality optics and allow a bright view of the entire image. A patented external dioptric adjustment allows personal adjustment for the astute

standard and viewfinder changes can be executed in less than 30 seconds without the need for tools. Exceptional composition and focus accuracy is now more accessible than ever.

PREMIUM PROFESSIONAL OPTICS

Veteran shooters know that a camera is only as good as the lens in front of it, and the same goes for chosing optics for an underwater camera system. Four optically coated glass dome ports (250mm, 230mm, 180mm, and 140mm diameters)

and a series of acrylic ports support popular lenses from brands like Canon, Tokina and Sigma. Port configurations are extensively tested at Nauticam to dertimine the idea extension ring length for the best perfoermance.
