Using a gray density filter can be vital to your filming - but mostly on land!
When used you are reducing the amount of light that get into the camera. This will give you a shallower depth of field and/or blur the motion you are capturing in bright sunlight. These filters are often referred to as ND/neutral density because they don't block out one specific wavelength or color of light to another. All the light is equally darkened - unlike other filters that block only certain colors. (like Polarizer)
The 55MM FLIP Graduated filter, works directly on the GoPro HERO FLIP filter system. Mount the filter in the M55 lens holder which you normally use for the macro filter or the MacroMate, and start controlling the light!
