Lens Ports

It incorporates the new Dry Lock (DL) port, which is more robust and easier to assemble. They are also lighter, more adaptable, while able to accommodate with ease extremely large diameter lenses.

With easy adjustments that engage lenses with a simply and effective gearing system putting the adjustments at a comfortable reach.

The DL and FL system ports cannot be used interchangeably because of the differences in mount diameter and zoom engagement. DL port can be removed and replaced with the old style Port Locks for FL Port System (set of 4) #5509.04 (this will prevent the use of newer DL ports, and the housing cannot be converted back and forth repeatedly).

Controls and Set-Up

Upgraded shutter and AF-ON levers with a more natural feeling and curved design. Optionally, both controls can be extended with Shutter Trigger Extension #4077.95 (more comfortable for a right-hand quick release). Push buttons are redesigned in order to reduce salt build-up and weight.

Front-loading camera mount, which makes it easier for installation and removal. No need to remove the camera mounting plate when changing the memory carts or the battery. Plus, the mounting plate has a 1/4-20 threaded mount on the bottom for tripod attachment on the surface.

Fiber Optic

An external strobe needs to be connected by electrical sync cord. Fiber optic only strobes are not compatible.

Compatibility

This housing cannot accommodate add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers or other accessories.
