The 42512 Lumiflux-1000 is a robust underwater light built from anodized aluminum alloy and rated for depths down to 100 meters. It measures 40 mm in diameter and 210 mm in length, with a weight of 430 g in air including battery and ball mount, and 210 g underwater including battery and ball mount, making it easy to balance in most setups.
Tight firm light beam - great for focus
The light delivers a 60° beam and offers both white and red light modes. In white mode it outputs up to 1000 lumens, and in red mode up to 500 lumens. Brightness can be adjusted in four steps (100%, 80%, 50%, 20%), allowing precise control of light output. With a CRI of 92, it provides very natural color rendering, which is useful both for focusing and for video or close-up work.
Easy powerhandling
Power is supplied by one 21700 3.7V lithium battery, providing up to approximately 2 hours of continuous use at maximum output.
How it works:
The Lumiflud can trigger an Apollo flash from a long distance.
The unit connects to the fiber-optic port on the camera housing via a fiber-optic cable and enables wireless flash triggering.
In wide-angle setups, when the Apollo strobe and Lumiflux are positioned at 90 degrees to each other, reliable wireless triggering is possible at distances of up to around 15 meters. Even at a 180-degree position between the Lumiflux and the Apollo, triggering remains reliable up to about 3 meters. This makes the Lumiflux-1000 a flexible and dependable solution for both macro and wide-angle underwater photography setups.
