The standout feature is its removable and reattachable lens hood, which can be operated underwater. Remove the hood when shooting at the widest circular fisheye focal lengths to prevent mechanical vignetting and obstruction, then reattach it when returning to diagonal fisheye shooting to help protect the dome and control stray ambient light.

Built for demanding underwater environments, the DLP-112 combines a glass-fiber-reinforced polycarbonate body with a hard-anodized aluminum structure and is rated for depths of up to 60 meters.
