Replace your Ikelite flash bulkhead or 1/2-20 accessory port plug with this compact, independently sealed device for reliable fiber optic triggering of an Ikelite DS Strobe (requires RC2 TTL Receiver). When paired with an Ikelite DS160-series or DS230-series strobe, it supports high frame rate burst shooting.

The TT5 transmitter offers rear curtain sync and the ability to switch between TTL and manual strobe exposure using the camera's flash menu.

Powered by two CR2032 lithium batteries (single-use or rechargeable, not included), the transmitter features a built-in power save mode to extend battery life. You can expect at least a week of diving on average use, but it’s always wise to carry a spare set of batteries.

Each strobe must have an RC2 TTL Receiver # 4414 attached. The RC2 and TT5 are only compatible with the following Ikelite DS strobes:

  • Ikelite DS50 above serial # 70000
  • Ikelite D51
  • Ikelite DS125 above serial # 5000
  • Ikelite DS160, DS161, DS162
  • Ikelite DS200 above serial # 7163
  • Ikelite DS230, DS232

This product is not compatible with non-digital Ikelite strobes, SEA&SEA, INON, or other non-Ikelite strobes.
