The Olympus Tough TG-7 is a solid compact waterproof camera that has become really popular for divers.
Mainly since it is simple and has a great ultra macro setting.

It has a 12MP (1/2.33") sensor, great image stabilization and an equivalent 25-100mm zoom lens with F2.0-4.9 a GPS with tracking function.
The TG-7 is waterproof to 15m of depth but using an underwater housing is a MUST for all divers.
It has a fixed 3" LCD with 1.04 million dots and no touch functionality which makes it clear as day.
The super macro function (Lab Mode) can focus as close as 1cm and optional light guide and flash diffusers allow for ultra-closeups.
Video can be captured at 4K/30p even in macro mode.
