Ikelite housing service (DSLR and MIL)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR IKELITE SERVICE:


The most important thing to include is a cover letter inside of the box.

Include:

    •    Your first and last name
    •    Phone number
    •    Email address
    •    Shipping address
    •    A description of the problem

DO NOT include handles, arms, and other accessories which are not integral to the operation of the product.
DO include both front and back of the housing and the camera mount plate. A complete housing (including lens port) is especially important if water intrusion is a problem.

We do not offer repair or service of strobes, film SLR housings, RCD and Super-8 flashlights, Aquashot, Auto35, PRO-2800, Pro Video Lites.

How Long
Service time is currently 9-14 business days.
Longer than normal service times may occur due to holidays, unexpected parts shortages, unapproved estimates, or delays in receiving payment for the requested services. On occasion issues may arise during the service that may affect the service cost or completion time. We will notify you by email if any unexpected delays arise.

Shipping
Return shipping charges will be added to the total service cost.
Service prices are quoted in EUR and do include 25% sales tax, but not any duties, custom fees etc.

How to Send
Pack your equipment carefully with your cover letter inside of the box. We recommend insuring the return shipment and using a trackable shipping method like UPS, FedEx, or DHL if you are shipping from outside Scandinavia. If you are shipping rom outside EU, make sure to register the package as a service item with low value.
You may need to register your product prior to return. Check with your local customs authority.
