WD-4 Wide Angle Conversion Dome for Ikelite Housings

The WD-4 Wide Angle Conversion Dome delivers true dome port performance underwater—without the need to change your existing port. Designed for Ikelite housings with a 3.9-inch lens port, this wet dome easily slides onto the standard port with no modifications required.

Unlike traditional dome ports, the WD-4 can be attached and removed underwater. This gives you full flexibility to switch between wide-angle and macro shooting during the same dive. With the dome installed, you can still use approximately 75% of your camera’s zoom range.

The WD-4 corrects the refractive magnification caused by flat ports, restoring your camera’s natural wide-angle field of view underwater. The result is sharper, wider images with improved composition options for underwater photography and video.

This wide-angle dome requires water between the dome and the housing port to function correctly and is therefore only effective when fully submerged. It can be used for split shots (over-under images), though two waterlines will be visible—one in front of the dome and one behind.

Compatibility:
Compatible with Ikelite underwater housings featuring a 3.9-inch diameter lens port. Always verify compatibility in your housing’s manual or product page.

Important Notes:

  • Not compatible with external color filters
  • Wet-mount design for easy installation and removal underwater
  • Ideal for wide-angle photography without sacrificing macro flexibility
