The AOI UCL-05N is a compact underwater macro lens designed for photographers who want to capture small marine life with greater detail and magnification.
With its +6 diopter strength, the UCL-05N offers a very good balance between magnification and ease of use underwater. It is ideal for nudibranchs, shrimp, small fish, coral textures and other macro subjects, while still maintaining a comfortable working distance and easier focusing compared to stronger super-macro lenses.
The lens features a high-quality optical design with 4 lens elements in 3 groups and multi-layer anti-reflective coating for improved sharpness, contrast and color performance underwater. The hard-anodized aluminum barrel provides excellent durability for travel and diving use.
Depth rated to 100 meters, the UCL-05N is a strong upgrade for compact underwater camera systems and action camera housings when you want to explore the smaller details beneath the surface.
