The Backscatter Smart Control TTL LED Universal Flash Trigger for Sony is a cutting-edge device engineered to provide underwater photographers with precise and automatic flash exposures when using Sony cameras in conjunction with Backscatter strobes. This trigger is compatible with the Backscatter Hybrid Flash, enabling seamless TTL (Through-The-Lens) functionality.

Smart Control Optical TTL: Utilizing proprietary Smart Control Optical TTL technology, the trigger ensures accurate automatic flash exposure. This system leverages Sony's native TTL protocol, offering superior precision compared to traditional mimic TTL systems.
High-Speed Sync (HSS): The trigger supports High-Speed Sync, allowing photographers to use shutter speeds beyond the camera's standard flash sync limit, up to 1/8000th of a second. This feature is particularly beneficial for achieving wider apertures while maintaining darker backgrounds in high ambient light conditions.
Manual Triggering and Rapid Firing: Beyond TTL, the device offers manual flash control and supports rapid firing, accommodating burst shooting at over 30 frames per second in manual mode.
