14-Day Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer, you normally have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us clearly before the 14-day period expires. Please email info@fotografit.eu and include your name and order number.

After notifying us, the products must be returned without undue delay and normally no later than 14 days after your notification.

Who Pays for Return Shipping?

When returning a product because you have exercised your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the product to us and for the goods until they have been received by us. We therefore recommend using a traceable shipping service.

If you received an incorrect, damaged or defective product, please contact us before returning it. For a justified complaint, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered by FOTOGRAFIT as required by applicable consumer law.

Condition of Returned Products

You may inspect and test a product to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functionality.

If a product has been handled or used beyond what is necessary for this examination and this reduces its value, we may deduct the corresponding loss in value from your refund where permitted by law.

This is particularly important for underwater equipment. Actual use in water may substantially reduce the resale value because the product may no longer be possible to sell as new. We therefore strongly recommend checking compatibility, fit, controls and general functionality before taking equipment into the water.

Where possible, return the product complete with original packaging, accessories, manuals and other supplied items.

Refunds

When you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payments due to you in accordance with applicable consumer law.

The refund will normally be made within 14 days after we receive your notification of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided adequate documentation showing that the goods have been returned.

Unless otherwise agreed, the refund will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase. The cost of our standard delivery method will be refunded where required by law. Additional costs for a more expensive delivery method, such as express delivery, are not necessarily refundable.

Refused or Uncollected Parcels

Simply refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not constitute valid notification that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal. Please contact us if you wish to cancel an order.

Costs incurred because a parcel is refused or not collected may be deducted from the refund where legally permitted.

Damaged, Incorrect or Defective Products

The right of withdrawal is separate from your statutory rights regarding defective products.

Consumers have a two-year statutory right to make a complaint regarding defects in accordance with applicable consumer law. If you receive an incorrect, damaged or defective product, contact us with your order number and a description of the problem.

If the complaint is justified, we will provide the remedy required under applicable consumer law, which depending on the circumstances may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
